A journey
beyond limits
5,895 metres. 20 climbers. £80,000. One shared purpose.
What is The Ascent Summit Challenge?
The Ascent Summit Challenge is Ascent Onsite Group’s biennial social-value and fundraising programme, bringing colleagues, clients, partners and selected professionals together around a major shared challenge. Kilimanjaro 2027 is the founding edition, with a planned 20-person team and an £80,000 fundraising target for a selected charity.
Our summit
is real.
In 2027, Ascent Onsite Group will bring together colleagues, clients and industry partners to take on Mount Kilimanjaro, raising funds for a selected cause and putting the Ascent Way into action.

Three ways in
Client company participant
For organisations sending or nominating a representative.
Individual professional participant
For selected directors, owners and professional contacts.
Campaign partner
For organisations supporting the challenge without necessarily sending a climber.
The cause
AOG is completing a structured selection process with prospective charity partners to ensure the challenge creates clear, measurable and meaningful impact.
Two separate paths
- Donor
- Selected charity fundraising platform
- Selected charity
- Participant or participating organisation
- Travel and expedition costs
Public charitable donations are kept separate from participant expedition costs. Donations will be made through the selected charity’s approved fundraising platform and will not be used to fund participant flights, hotels, mountain fees, personal kit or AOG administration.
Expedition costs are paid separately by the participant, their organisation or an approved campaign partner arrangement. The final cost and payment structure will be published once the expedition operator, itinerary and commercial terms are confirmed.
Keeping expedition costs separate from charitable donations helps maintain a clear distinction between the donor’s gift and the participant’s personal benefit. Gift Aid eligibility will depend on HMRC rules, the individual donation, a valid Gift Aid declaration and the selected charity’s fundraising process.
